Pendant White Keshi of Freshwater pearl 20 x 7 mm Rhodium plated metal to easily make a pendant necklace

Keshis are natural pearls without core unlike cultured pearls.
The production of keshi is due to an external element accidentally arrived in the freshwater mussel. To protect against irritation, the element is slowly wrapped with mother-of-pearl.
The shapes are random and irregular.

Origin South-East Asia : Vietnam, Thailand, South China.

Quality or grade
similar as jewel gem class
A : Little or no default, high luster, regular shape.
B : Small defects, a nice luster, slightly irregular shape.
C : irregularities, natural luster, baroque form.

Natural colors : White, Peach, Lavender. The black color is artificial (dyed); only Tahitian pearls are naturally black.
